Western Kentucky University is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a city with a population of 50,000 people. It is situated approximately 110 miles south of Louisville, Kentucky, and 61 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee. It rests on a hill overlooking Bowling Green, causing many to call the campus one of the most beautiful in America. Bowling Green is home to the General Motors Corvette Plant and the National Corvette Museum.
There are 66 major buildings on the 200-acre main campus and another 765 acres on the University Farm. The student body is made up of 18,000 students from all over the USA and more than 46 different countries.
