My first time studying abroad is at ESLI Western Kentucky University. Before I came here I was not sure that this was the best place for me. After six weeks I want to assure you that I did not make the wrong decision to study here.

Do you have a wonderful place in your mind? I have found it since I studied in ESLI. I have studied in the States for three months. I gained more knowledge in: grammar, writing, speaking, listening, and reading. All subjects are important. I can adapt each branch of learning to use in daily life such as I use an idiom when I talk with foreign friends. Moreover, I employ grammar when I write journals. Teachers in this institute not only give skills but also give experience to me. My English skills are improved. I am really proud with this organization. I live in the Trinity Western University's dormitory. I have a lot of fun spending time learning to live with other people who come from different countries. I have many friends who are in the same situation. We spend time learning about each other. I am studying in level 5 at ESLI in Trinity campus. I found out that the ESLI here is in very high standard. I think that I will be able to use English fluently when I graduate. I hope to hear that Thai students want to come and study here because I want them to have the best experience as I do.

I can say that it is great to take part in ESLI. The ESLI program not only immproves my English, but it also gives me a warm welcoming and new experiences. Before I came to study in the USA, I had expected many things from the ESLI program. The ESLI has never disappointed me. I have gained many valuable experiences both in improving my Englsih skills and in learning about the American culture. During four months, I found that the program itself is very effective for students to learn Englsih. All teachers always encouraged me to speak English, even though I couldn't speak it well. In addition, the extra activities that ESLI arranged were very rewarding, such as the Halloween Party, field trip to San Antonio, and the King Ranch experience with cowboys. Moreover, every classmate is very friendly. Since they come from different parts of the world, I also learned about cultures besides the American way of life. I also had a chance to share my ideas and thoughts with them. Finally, I am grateful for having had the opportunity to be a part of the ESLI in Corpus Christi, Texas. Everone is very supportive.

My name is Warangkana Montolvit .I am from Thailand. I have been studying in ESLI program since I was in the beginner level and now I am in the advance level. This is a very good opportunity to have a chance to study in the United States which opens the door to improve my English skills and also learn how to communicate with other people from different countries .When I first came here, my English was very poor and I was not confident to speak or even write in English because I was shy and not comfortable. After I have been studying in this program for a while, my English improved exponentially because of many reasons. First of all, I have met many friends from different countries such as Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam. Due to the differences in nationality, we were forced to communicate in English with each other almost everyday. Secondly, my teachers were very nice and professional. They are willing to answer every question and teach me how to use English appropriately. Finally, the ESLI course provided me the skills that are necessary in college. This course and the staff encouraged me to achieve my goals and I think that this has been a very valuable experience of my life.
